A DOT medical exam evaluates your overall health to determine if you meet FMCSA medical standards for commercial driving.

During your exam, we assess: 

  • Vision and hearing
  • Blood pressure and heart health
  • Neurologic and musculoskeletal function
  • Respiratory health
  • General medical history
  • Urinalysis (required by FMCSA for medical screening)

What To Bring To Your Appointment?

Your exam will be completed by a FMCSA-certified medical examiner, and results will be submitted directly to the FMCSA National Registry. 


If you qualify you will receive your DOT Medical Certificate at the end of your visit.

  • Valid driver's license
  • Glasses or contacts (if required for driving)
  • List of current medications
  • Medical records or clearance letters (if you have conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea, heart disease or seizures)

Exams are straight forward and include a medical history,  physical and urinalysis. 


Most appointments take around 30 minutes. 


Same day certificates provided when qualified.
